What is a private label cosmetics manufacturer?
A private label (or white label) cosmetics manufacturer develops, produces and packages products you sell under your own brand. LissCréation is an integrated lab: formulation, ISO 22716 manufacturing, packaging, CPNP and PIF regulatory.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ is 200 units per SKU. You can mix several products in a single order to launch a coherent range without overstock.
Which hair products do you manufacture?
Brazilian smoothing, Korean smoothing, taninoplasty, hair botox, shampoos, masks, serums, leave-ins, thermal sprays, scalp scrubs, and a full range for textured hair (curly and coily).
Do I need a company to order?
Yes. Private label manufacturing is B2B: brands, salons, distributors, e-commerce. A VAT number or equivalent business registration is required.
How long does it take to launch a hair brand?
Plan 4 to 8 weeks of production after sign-off on formula, fragrance and packaging. Full range development (brief → market launch) takes 3 to 4 months.
Formulation & R&D

Can I customise an existing formula?
Yes. Any catalog formula can be tweaked: add/remove an active, change fragrance, certify vegan, adjust texture or viscosity, sulfate-free or silicone-free versions.
Can you develop a 100% custom formula?
Yes. Our R&D team develops exclusive formulas from your brief: target actives, marketing claims, desired INCI, price positioning. Plan 6 to 10 weeks of development.
Do you offer reverse engineering?
Yes. We reproduce and improve a formula you already sell: change supplier, optimise cost, remove a controversial ingredient, certify vegan or ORGANIC.
Are your formulas formaldehyde-free?
Yes, by default. All our smoothing treatments are formulated without free formaldehyde, in line with EU regulation EC 1223/2009. We also offer vegan and ORGANIC versions.
Which hair actives do you use?
Hydrolysed keratin, hyaluronic acid, collagen, ORGANIC oils (argan, castor, coconut), silk proteins, niacinamide, panthenol, amino acid complexes, peptides and exclusive patents on request.
Regulatory — CPNP, PIF, Responsible Person

What is a PIF (Product Information File)?
The PIF is a mandatory European regulatory document (EC 1223/2009) gathering composition, safety assessment, stability and container-content compatibility tests. LissCréation drafts the PIF for every product manufactured.
What is CPNP notification?
The CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) is the EU portal on which every cosmetic product must be notified before market release. We handle this notification for you.
Can you act as Responsible Person under EU regulation?
Yes. We act as Responsible Person (EC 1223/2009 Article 4) for brands with no legal entity in the EU. Included on request.
Are you ISO 22716 certified?
Yes. Our production complies with ISO 22716, equivalent to cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices required by EU regulation EC 1223/2009. Regular quality audits.
Can my products be exported outside the EU?
Yes. We support export to the UK (SCPN), US (FDA / MoCRA), Canada, Switzerland, Morocco, Algeria, the Middle East and 27+ countries total.
Packaging & Personalisation
From bottle choice to final label.
Which bottle and jar formats do you offer?
Bottles 100ml, 250ml, 500ml, 1L. Jars 250ml, 500ml. Tubes 100ml, 200ml. Sprays, ampoules, sticks. Glass or recyclable plastic. Disc-top, pump, sprayer, screw caps.
Can you print my labels?
Yes. We handle adhesive label printing or direct silkscreen on bottle. You provide the design (or our graphic designer does) and we validate INCI/regulatory compliance.
Do you offer graphic design services?
Yes. Our partner designer creates logo, brand guidelines, labels, secondary packaging and gift boxes. Package available on quote.
Can you assemble gift boxes, packs and bundles?
Yes. Gift box assembly, duo packs (shampoo + mask), trios, launch kits. Secondary packaging integrated in our logistics chain.
Are your packagings eco-friendly?
Yes on request. Recycled plastics (rPET, PCR), glass, vegetable inks, FSC outer boxes, refillable packaging. We document environmental impact.

How do I get a personalised quote?
Fill out our information request form: target product, volume, packaging, label language. Reply within 24h with a detailed quote, shipping included.
Does the quote include VAT?
France: 20% VAT. Intra-EU with valid VAT number: 0%. Intra-EU without VAT: 20%. Outside EU: 0% (export).
What is the average price of a private label product?
Depends on product, volume and packaging. Indicative: shampoo 250ml from €2.50/unit excl. VAT (MOQ 200), Brazilian smoothing 1L from €18/unit. Higher volumes lower unit cost.
Are there formula development fees?
A catalog formula has no development fee. A bespoke formula or deep customisation may generate R&D fees, deducted from the first order above a certain volume.
Which payment methods do you accept?
SEPA transfer, credit card (Stripe), international wire transfer. 50% deposit at order, balance before shipping.
Production & Logistics
From quote sign-off to pallet delivery.
What are the production lead times?
4 to 8 weeks after sign-off on quote, fragrance, formula and final packaging. Full cycle includes: raw material purchase, manufacturing, packaging, QC, labelling.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to 27+ countries: EU, UK, Switzerland, Morocco, Algeria, US, Canada, Middle East. Road, sea or air freight depending on volume.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is calculated by weight and volume per destination. Included in the quote. For large orders, we negotiate preferential rates with our carriers.
Can you store my products?
Yes. European warehouse storage on request, with order preparation and shipping (3PL logistics). Ideal for growing e-commerce brands.
How do I track my production?
Every client has a dedicated dashboard: order status (quote → in production → shipped → delivered), documents (quotes, invoices, delivery notes) and history.
